Every year in August (from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.), the ceramic town of Gmunden am Traunsee becomes a mecca of clay art and transforms the town hall square and the esplanade into a stage for European pottery elite.

This year, the organizers have once again succeeded in selecting workshops that present a sophisticated mix and a cross-section of contemporary ceramic work in all forms. As a result, visitors can once again get a good impression of the European ceramic scene.

All of this helps to position our city even better as a “ceramic city” both nationally and internationally.

The ceramic town of Gmunden is already wishing both participants and visitors an enriching “pottery market weekend in the ceramic town of Gmunden”.
